CAMPSITE DETAILS

CAMPING RATES:

  • Campsite rates are based on a single family of 5, traveling in one vehicle and one camping unit per campsite.
  • One picnic table is provided on each campsite.

 CAMPFIRES:

  • Campfires are permitted with adult supervision on campsites ONLY; Campfires are not allowed on the beach. ALL GUEST ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFELY EXTINGUISHING THEIR CAMPFIRE BEFORE CHECK-OUT.

EXTRA ON-SITE TENT:

  • Any use of an additional tent is subject to approval.

ON-SITE TELEPHONE SERVICE:

  • Campsites include FREE telephone connection.

ON-SITE CABLE TELEVISION SERVICE:

  • Campsites include FREE limited cable television.

ELECTRIC SERVICE:

  • No additional charge.
  • The operation of personal generators is not permitted within Lakewood Camping Resort.

WATER & SEWER SERVICE:

  • No additional charge.

ON-SITE GARBAGE REMOVAL SERVICE:

  • No additional charge and daily removal year-round. 

ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE FEES 

EXTRA GUEST:

  • Campsites are based on a single Family of 5 with a maximum of 7 people allowed per campsite.
  • $2 per night per person over the base of 5.
  • No additional fee for children ages 4 and under.

    • EXTRA VEHICLE:

    • Campsite rates include parking for 1 vehicle with a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per campsite.
    • The rate for the 2nd vehicle is $3.00 plus tax per night. 

    CAMPSITE DISCOUNTS (DISCOUNTS MAY NOT BE COMBINED)

    WEEKLY:

    • 10% off each night's regular rate when 7 nights or more are paid in advance.
    • JAN. 1 - MAR. 12, 2010 & SEPT. 7 - DEC. 31, 2010

    EXTENDED STAY:

    • When 28 nights or more are paid in advance.
    • JAN. 1 - MAR. 12, 2010 & SEPT. 7 - DEC. 31, 2010

    SENIOR CITIZEN: (ages 55 & over)

    • 10% off each night’s regular rate
    • JAN 1 - MAR 12, 2010 & SEPT 7 - DEC 31, 2010

    CAMPSITE RESERVATION POLICIES

    • Reservations accepted up to 24 months in advance.
    • Reservations are accepted for Families ONLY.
    • Reservations are subject to availability.
    • All reservations are guaranteed by block location only.  Specific site numbers are never guaranteed. 
    • Sites, adjacent sites, shade, door facing ocean and other special requests will be noted.
    • Make your reservation for the entire length of your stay; renewal of campsites cannot be guaranteed.
    • Entrance to the resort is not allowed until after official check-in.
    • Check-in is after 3:00 pm; Check-out by 11:00 am.

    SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS: May 22 - Sept. 6, 2010

    • Minimum of 4 nights stay, except for oceanfront sites which must be a minimum 7 nights stay.

    PAYMENT:

    • FULL PAYMENT is required for all internet reservations when the reservation is made.
    • FULL PAYMENT (including 12% tax - starting March 1, 2010) is required within 14 days from the date your reservation was made or the reservation will be cancelled.
    • Payment of South Carolina and local tax increases that are implemented after the reservation confirmation are the responsibility of the guest.
    • Guests who have paid for 90 consecutive days are entitle to a refund of all SC taxes paid.
    • Lakewood accepts cash, Visa, Master Card, Debit Cards and the Discover Card.  Personal checks are not accepted at the front desk. 

    DATE CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

    • All cancellations 14 days or more prior to your arrival date will incur a $25.00 administrative fee. 
    • All cancellations less than 14 days prior to your arrival date will incur a $50.00 administration fee. 
    • No refunds for early departures, "NO SHOWS", or changing to a lesser-priced accommodation after arrival.
    • Campers must check-out by 11:00am.

    ADDITIONAL RULES

    • Gated access with year round Security Patrol.
    • No one may enter the park after 1:00 am
    • QUIET HOURS: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
    • SPEED LIMIT: 10 MPH  - PLEASE OBEY ALL TRAFFIC SIGNS AND RULES 
    • NO FIREWORKS: The discharging of fireworks within the resort or on the beach is strictly prohibited.
    • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: The use of alcoholic beverages within the resort is strictly prohibited.
    • Outside of standard cars, trucks and RV's, no motorized vehicles are permitted in the resort.  This includes, but is not limited to ATV's, both three and four wheelers, motorized scooters, motorized bicycles, SEGWAY®, mini-bikes, personal golf carts or NEV's used as golf carts, utility vehicles and motorcycles. 
    • MOTORCYCLES: are permitted during designated and sanctioned bike week festivals ONLY.  Be sure to ask for festival dates before making your reservation.
    • PERSONAL GOLF CARTS or NEV's USED AS GOLF CARTS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON RESORT PROPERTY.  Golf carts may be rented from the Graham Golf Carts on site facility only.  You must call Graham Golf Carts in advance to reserve your golf carts at  1-843-447-7422 (onsite)  or  1-866-213-3978. 
    • ONLY LICENSED DRIVERS 16 YEARS OR OLDER MAY DRIVE A GOLF CART IN THE RESORT. GOLF CART PRIVILEGES WILL BE REVOKED WITHOUT REFUND AND A $75.00 FINE WILL BE IMPOSED FOR ALL UNDER AGED DRIVER VIOLATIONS. (LEARNING PERMITS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AS A VALID LICENSE)

       PET POLICY

      • Handicap and law enforcement dogs, though not classified as pets must abide by ALL pet rules.  Certification must be provided at check-in.
      • Only small, non-aggressive, quiet pets are permitted.
      •  Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, Akitas, Chow Chows, German Shepherds and Dalmatians are not allowed in the resort. The afore mentioned pets, if brought onto Lakewood's property, must be placed in a local kennel at the pet owner's expense.
      • Pets are not permitted to leave your campsite boundary without supervision.  Pets must be on a leash no longer the 6 feet at all times.
      • Pets that make noise or create any other nuisance must be placed in a local kennel at the pet owner's expense.
      • Pets are prohibited from all public buildings and pool areas year 'round, and all dogs in public must be on a leash at all times. Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. from May 15 through September 15.
      • Pet owners must clean up after their pet.   Please be considerate of other campers and their children that will be using your site after you and your pet check-out. 

       

      LAKEWOOD CAMPING RESORT, INC.  RESERVES THE RIGHT OF EVICTION OF ANY GUEST WITHOUT REFUND UPON THE FOLLOWING BASIS:

       

      • Non-compliance of Lakewood Camping Resort policies, rules or regulations.
      • Verbal or physical threat of another resort guest or Lakewood employee.
      • Possession of dangerous or deadly weapons, firearms or explosives.
      • Deliberate damage or destruction of property belonging to Lakewood or a guest.
      • Disorderly, immoral or indecent conduct.
