Lakewood Camping Resort Wins National Award - Nov 12, 2007
The Perry Family and Lakewood Camping Resort staff were awarded with the ARVC (Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds) award on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the ARVC National Convention in Phoenix, Arizona.
The award was accepted by the Perry Family and Lakewood's Marketing Director Candace Howell. The brochure's original design was created by Tony Perry, one of the Lakewood owners. Many of the photos in the brochure were taken by Candace Howell.
"We are so pleased about this award, any award given by ARVC is a reflection of our peers in the industry and we are just thankful to be given such a prestigious award. We are constantly trying to make our resort better for the guests and awards like this really show them they can count on us to be the best. Getting an ARVC award is a blessing and an honor," Candace Howell said after accepting the award on behalf of Lakewood Camping Resort.
Howell went on to add, "Winning Brochure of the Year is a huge deal for us because many times it's the first thing people see as a representation of our resort and we're thrilled that it won. We take great pride in keeping up our end of the bargain when it comes to being a TRUE camping resort and not just any campground."
